adios..my friends

An old friend told me once :' you won't miss a thing until you lose it.' 

It is true.. to a certain extent. But that depends on how much you cherish that particular something. We do meet new people everyday. The thing is, they come and go. And we do feel empty sometimes by the person's absentee.. The basic simple answer: that person means
nothing to you. 
However, it will always be sad to have someone close leaving. 
Wish I could spend more time with them when they were around.....

24 hours ago, I went to the airport to send off my close friend (wil) back to Indonesia.
The same thing happened 96 hours ago, who was Sandra. I have known both of them for minimum of 4 years.. and I do 
appreciate both of them. 

Sandra had been a good advicer. For me, she is wise and trustworthy. 
I remember She took care of me when I was ill
and I will never forget her. 

As for Wil, we were always together since 2003.
I dare say, he is so far the longest lasting friend that I had while in Melbourne.

well..I didn't feel much sadness when they left..
maybe the time will come when I could feel the lost.. it will be definite..

Perhaps.. I should learn to cherish more the time that 
I have with whom I have at the moment...
If God permits, I would be given certain genuine close friends again. 

As for Sandra and William, you guys will always be remembered.

Blissful Saturday

i really like the time that I could have to spend solitary moment of my own. After having simple late breakfast, playing few songs on the piano, I watched Save the Last Dance 2 and thinking 'when was the last time I could enjoy these hours, relaxing at home'..in other words, I felt bliss. Beside, this movie motivated me to remember my original fields.. and man, my life is more than just working in a kitchen. One day I will work in art field, or some sort of music industry. Surely will be.

Also, today 's work was pretty enjoyable. Although it took only 2 people instead of 3 as per normal to manage the shop, it turned out satisfyingly good. At night, after a good one hour quality time with my friend, I had warm shower, music on in the background, and I will enjoy the rest of the night.

My Adorable Fishy !

I have been keeping fishes from September 2004. The one on the picture is the first fish that I kept from the start and is the only one that survived now. I am quite amaze at its determination to keep living. All the other fishes had died, but this friend of mine has managed to keep swimming. Now, it stays alone. I have not got time to go fish shop to buy friends for it. But it seems living happily to me. Well, I would like to be as strong as this little fellow. Though staying alone, though has to endure hours of hunger, water temperature, and maybe sometimes not-so-clean water (my fault) ? it never complaints.. unlike me. Haha of course fish doesn't talk. At least my pet could give me motivation to stay strong and be the survival at work.

open window

looking at mindy and ko robert opened window on Monday, 7th January..was so cute. For your information, this is the same window that I described from the previous post. Now you can see that the window is really heavy.... however, I have one work-mate who can open and close the window by his own. He is a rare one ~ super strong. Ko robert looks so so bulet and imut here. heuheuheu. Wish Robert happy for his wedding this month =p

Absolute Girl-Power

today was the first time i realised that the window of my working place - Don3 was left opened. For certain fact, this window is hard to close. Firstly, it is heavy and so far only guys are strong enough to close it. The problem was, today we had 3 girls doing closing. So.. we (me, crystal & akiko) had to use our very most energy. Well, aint easy to describe in words; we counted 1,2,3, hold our breaths, screamed & ... laughed. =p even our neighbour from asian grocery's joni rushed to our shop bcoz of the commotion. Next time if girl-power doing closing again, make sure to close the window before any guy left the shop!

A very good Farewell to 2007

To close of 2007, the last dining I had for the 31st, which was also probably the best dining of the year, was at Borsari - Italian Fine Dining Restaurant with my very best friend, Mikha. Thanks to him, I didn't have to spend my New Year myself. LOl ~ The place has a very cozy, private kind of feel dining, the food was delicious and the sparkling wine was great. I love the pudding with the brandy sauce most.

As for the countdown, we had the chance to view fabulous fireworks display, adorning Melbourne's sky....despite having no choice but to walk around the crowded streets for some reasons. Unfortunately, I didn't manage to take any good picture of it. Happy New Year 2008 !

The Expected 00.00 am

I think the most exciting moment worth waiting in 2007 was few minutes before my birthday on the 29th dec. I wandered who were coming.. well.. hehehe I didnt really get shock at all.. coz I had been anticipating it to happen.. well, thanks for coming guys =) aih..I am 23 already ehhehe.

Boxing Day 26th Dec 07

I remember queing for Nudie Jeans from 10.15am till 11.30am... crazy. But in the end I got my pair of Nudie! Other than that I got red heels that I always wanted to have from steve maidens plus other goodies. Also thx a lot for Mikha who had been a good shopping companion of the day. I think the best of the day happened in Bettina Lianno's shop.... ~ the best birthday present of the year ~ such a surprise worth remembering. thank you mik =p
